Share the Love ❤️

It’s almost that time of year again to buy copious amounts of love heart shaped chocolate, bunches of red roses and heart felt cards. But why should Valentine’s Day only be for those loved up couples?

Well, at The Original Factory Shop we believe Valentine’s Day should be celebrated and enjoyed by everyone. Whether you’re in a relationship, single or married share the love this Valentine’s Day with those who are special to you regardless of what role they play in your life. Whether it’s your parents, a partner, a friend, a sibling, grandparents or your loveable pet, there really is no better time than the present to show your nearest and dearest some affection and to let them know you care and appreciate them. Remember it’s the little things that people do on a daily basis that can make the biggest difference – so why not let them know that!

So don’t let this seasonal holiday make you feel alone, miserable and question yourself, practice some self-love and self-appreciation and for those around you instead as we say Valentine’s Day is for everyone!

Fun with Family & Friends

Arrange a get together with those you cherish most, and although things are a little different this year don’t let that deter you. If you can't get out and about, arrange a virtual coffee (or glass of prosecco!) with a friend for some banter and a chat – go on, celebrate Galentine’s Day with the girls and a gossip instead!

How about a family quiz? It’s easy enough to arrange over Zoom, WhatsApp Call, FaceTime or Skype (on your mobile phone, laptop or computer) and all you need is a handful of questions to make it truly interactive.

Try Rockbusters if you haven’t already. A musical quiz created by Karl Pilkington and as heard on the Ricky Gervais podcast and XFM radio show. The brain teaser game, where you give clues to musical bands or artists. A tried and tested firm favourite at The Original Factory Shop.

Feed the Soul!

Turn that Hallmark meal of the day filled with Hollywood romance into an opportunity to feed your soul and those around you. Bake up a storm with the kids! All you need are a few bakeware essentials, some store cupboard staples and you’re good to go.

Gift Giving

Giving gifts is a great way to show a token of your appreciation whatever the occasion. Not only does it make the recipient feel special, but it can do wonders for your own well-being too. Or why not show yourself some appreciation and treat yourself to something new?

Fragrance and beauty products are always a popular choice with so many options for both men and women available. However, think broader, perhaps a personalised gift for something truly unique. Or if you’re looking to spruce up your home or in need of some new beddingwhatever it is, why not treat yourself? You’re worth it!

It also seems like balloons have been a focal point of every celebration or party and Valentine's Day is no exception. Everyone loves balloons whether they are plain, heart shaped, filled with helium (or filled with water). Balloons are an inexpensive way to show someone you care and captures just a little bit of magic in our everyday lives.
