Pioneering Botanical Beginnings…
Established in 1971, Molton Brown have built an illustrious reputation as London's fragrance experts. Their story started on South Molton Street as small-scale artisans, hand-pouring natural hair care products in the basement of their salon. Herbal formulations and captivating fragrances laid the foundation of their philosophy.
Soon launching one of Britain’s first luxury hand washes, ‘Bubbling Orange Grove’ as it was then known became recognised for its unforgettable citrus fragrance. Now known as the beloved Orange & Bergamot, this original collection is still a bestseller and an unmistakable icon of Molton Brown. Each creation is intricately composed with rare ingredients from across the globe making London accessible via the world and the world accessible via London, and available in the finest hotels.
Molton Brown next turned their attention to focus on fragrance. They collaborate with the most exciting perfumers, giving them freedom to create truly unique fragrances. Working with master perfumer, Jacques Chabert since 1993, his expressive approach has given Molton Brown their award-winning Re-charge Black Pepper scent.
Growing from small-scale artisans into an international luxury brand today, their heart remains in London with a flagship home on prestigious Regent Street. Their expertly created fragrance collections also proudly hold a prestigious Royal Warrant for the supply of toiletries by appointment to Her Majesty the Queen.
